Congrats to Chris Klemm! In his last at-bat he got a hit - Steve Yeager recovered that last ball and put it in his pocket so that he could later give it to Chris. Even though Chris didn't hit a home run they passed the hat and gave him a small going away gift. His new career will be as a fireman in Orange County. Good luck to him!

What a final day in pro ball for Chris Klemm. 5-6 with 2 rbi's. What a way to go out. I have had the privilege of watching him play since he played for UC Irvine against the Ditbags of Long Beach State. He has always gone about his business in a more than professional manner both on and off the diamond.
Classy move by Mgr Steve Yeager to retrieve the ball after Klemm's final hit as a pro. Also classy move from the Armada faithfull to contribute to Klemm's going away gift. Over $200.00 was collected. Kudos to the fans once again.
Klemm has always been a big fan favorite and always will be with the Armada faithfull.
I'm sure I speak for all the Armada faithfull when I say..."Thanks Chris!! You will be missed but never forgotten.
Like we would say in the Navy "Farwell and following seas"
Good luck to Chris in his new career. I'm sure he will be an All Star as a fireman just like he was on the diamond.
See you at the park.
