It was fun while it lasted. The winning streak that is.
Kudos to the starting pitcher for Edmonton. Pitched on hell of a game. Had the Armada bats quiet for most of the game.
Ryan Lehr's 24 game streak of getting on base came to an end. He has been hot with the bat not to mention playing steller defense at 3rd also. Brett Flowers continues to be consistant at the plate. In this homestand he is hitting at a .416 clip with 9 rbi's. His OBP is .458 great numbers. Ryan Lehr is hitting .444 with 4 rbi's and an OBP of .641 those are great numbers at any level. One the two or maybe both should be concidered for player of the week for the GBL.
On a final note. The new kid on the block ss O Bramasco looks realy good both offensive and defensive. I'm sure he will be a great addition in the line up.
See what the boys can do against Chico this week.
GO ARMADA!!!!
See you at the park.
Forgot to mention that Norn Hutchings is batting .166 (4-24) this homestand with 4 rbi's. Hopefully his bat will get hot here soon.
Later, Later.
See you at the park.
