Good morning baseball fans. LB and STG played through the rains last night and managed to complete the game in full fashion. Today's forecast calls for 60% chance of thunderstorms with a high of 69F. Tonight 60% chance of showers, low of 54F.
Yesterday the weather didn't seem to bother play too much - except for when the grounds crew came out to put some fresh dirt (oxymoron?) on the batters box in the later innings. The rain continued to gently fall through the later innings. If tonight there are thunderstorms accompanied by lightening, perhaps the umpires won't be as patient with the weather.
The Armada need to have a lead after 5 innings. Just incase.
